Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater has entered a new era, propelling dance in exciting new directions and pushing the bounds of what the human body and spirit can achieve. This season, experience the brilliance of Ailey's timeless masterpieces alongside bold new works that carry his legacy into the future. Under the leadership of new Artistic Director Alicia Graf Mack and Associate Artistic Director Matthew Rushing, the company's fourth consecutive BAM season promises to be a celebration of joy, beauty, and the transformative power of dance.

The season features treasures from the company’s repertory—including a new production of Judith Jamison’s Hymn, the stunning, Emmy Award–winning tribute to Mr. Alvin Ailey from 1993; Medhi Walerski’s Blink of an Eye, and Alvin Ailey’s Revelations, the ultimate anthem to resilience and joy that has moved and uplifted fans for decades. 

This return season at BAM encapsulates everything that makes an Ailey performance magical, inspiring returning fans and first-timers alike.
