Michael Cherry

Michael Cherry (Springfield, VA) is a graduate of George Mason University, where he received a BFA in Dance with a minor in Arts Management. Cherry has had the opportunity to dance in works created or set by Rafael Bonachela, Shaun Boyle D'Arcy, Camille A. Brown, Rena Butler, Alejandro Cerrudo, Christopher d’Amboise, Fiona Jopp, Susan Shields, Doug Varone, and Manuel Vignoulle. He attended the Juilliard Summer Dance Intensive, Complexions Summer and Winter Intensives, and the LINES Ballet Summer Program. Cherry danced for two seasons (2024-2026) with Complexions Contemporary Ballet under the direction of co-founders Dwight Rhoden and Desmond Richardson. He joined the company in 2026.
