Places is a choreographic study in the psyche of the performer, or as Anna Kisselgoff writes in The New York Times, “a study in stage fright.” William Chaison created the work as a vehicle for Dudley Williams, who displayed his performative range as the character fluctuates between heightened states of emotion.
