Marcela Sarmiento

Marcela Sarmiento is a certified Masala Bhangra® fitness ambassador who has been a student of Masala Bhangra® Founder Sarina Jain for the past 14 years. She first became exposed to the Indian dance fitness program as part of Ailey Extension and has taken classes at AILEY since 2012.

Marcela has performed as part of the annual Bhangra in the Plaza at Greeley Square and the Diwali at Times Square celebration. She has also participated alongside Sarina and other Masala Bhangra® ambassadors in the 2017 Bar Bhangra Baby Dance Workout video.

When not grooving to some Bhangra and Bollywood beats, Marcela can be found working in sports marketing and taking acting classes at Barrow Group. Follow her at @mbwithmarce on Instagram.
