Upcoming Ailey Experience Workshops

The Ailey Experience Tour provides dancers of all experience levels the opportunity to study with prominent Ailey instructors and former Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater company dancers in their hometown.

Students will learn a variety of techniques while learning the rich history of Alvin Ailey’s signature style and how he changed the perception of American modern dance.

No audition is required—all levels and all ages are welcome!

_{Ailey Experience tour students ages 11–21 who participate in both days will have the chance to win a scholarship to attend Ailey Experience NYC this summer at AILEY for free.}

Ailey Experience Charlotte students will study Horton, contemporary, jazz, and learn Ailey repertory with Ailey Extension Director and former Ailey dancer Lisa Johnson-Willingham as well as renowned Ailey instructors Jeffrey Bynum and TweetBoogie.
