Jeffrey Bynum

Jeffrey P. Bynum was born and raised in Washington, DC where he began his dance training at the Jones & Haywood School of Ballet. He's a graduate of the prestigious Duke Ellington School of the Arts. Jeffrey later continued his studies at The Ailey School and Dance Theatre of Harlem. He has danced with Philadanco, Dance Theatre of Harlem, Nanette Bearden Dance, and 7th Principle Dance Company in addition to dancing in both on-Broadway and off-Broadway shows. Jeffrey has worked as a teaching artist for the Alvin Ailey Arts In Education program, the New York City Center Arts in Education Department, and the Dance Theatre of Harlem Outreach and Education programs. He is on staff for the Ailey/Professional Performing Arts School (PPAS) program and currently teaches jazz at Ailey Extension.
