Robert has a weekly open class at Steps on Broadway and is a teaching artist at Bronx Excellence Schools. He also serves as the program's director and a resident faculty member at Earl Mosley’s Diversity of Dance, as well as production coordinator at the Bridge for Dance. Since 2018, Robert has been the producer, curator, and host for the Uptown Rising Performance Series held at the Bridge for Dance—a program providing NYC dancemakers with an affordable opportunity to present, discuss, and receive feedback on their works and process. Robert is dedicated to fostering a community where dancers of all backgrounds and identities feel respected and empowered. He prioritizes building confidence through encouragement, carving space for growth through supportive communication and thoughtful guidance. His passion for instilling creative curiosity encourages artists at any stage in their career to thrive and express their artistic selves to their fullest ability.
