Rael Lamb

An alumnus of North Carolina School of the Arts and Juilliard, Rael Lamb received scholarships and choreographic grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Detroit Urban League, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Maurice Bejart, the Martha Graham School, and American Ballet Theatre, among others. Lamb choreographed for Boston Ballet, San Francisco Dance Spectrum, Les Ballet Jazz de Montreal, Xoregos, and Entre Six along with his own company, Dance For The New World. He made his debut with the San Francisco Opera as resident choreographer and ballet master in the 1977 season. Among his company credits are the North Carolina Dance Theater, Twyla Tharp, Lar Lubovitch, and Rod Rodgers.
