Julie Colotroc

Julie Colotroc (Marseille, France) began her dance training at Studio Sottile Dance School where she studied ballet and modern. She won several international competitions and joined Béjart Ballet School in Switzerland. Upon graduating, she joined The Lion King in Paris as an ensemble member. Colotroc also trained at The Ailey School as a scholarship student and was awarded The Joan Weill Ailey Spirit Award for the 2025-26 school year. She has performed works by choreographers including Alvin Ailey, Christopher L. Huggins, Darrell Grand Moultrie, Ronald K. Brown, Samantha Figgins, and Pedro Ruiz. This is Colotroc’s first season with Ailey II.
