Christopher R. Wilson (Augusta, GA) is a graduate of John S. Davidson Fine Arts Magnet School and graduated cum laude from the Ailey/Fordham BFA in Dance program. He also trained at Colton Ballet School, Alonzo King LINES Ballet, and The School at Jacob’s Pillow before beginning his professional career with BHdos, the second company of Ballet Hispánico New York. He has performed works by choreographers Judith Jamison, Alonzo King, Wayne McGregor, Camille A. Brown, and Hans van Manen, among others. He has performed as a guest artist for The Royal Ballet’s Legacy Project, Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, Essence Festival, and with The Black Iris Project, starring in the Emmy-nominated film A Mother’s Rite.
