Ami-Maxine Hill

Ami-Maxine Hill (Inglewood, CA) began dancing at the Debbie Allen Dance Academy, where she trained on a full scholarship. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Dance, graduating cum laude from the University of California, Riverside, before continuing her training at The Ailey School. After three years in The Ailey School's Certificate Program, she graduated in May 2026. Hill has worked with and performed works by artists including Maleek Washington, Branndi Lewis, Jennifer Archibald, Ronald K. Brown, Arcel Cabuag, Samantha Figgins, Christopher L. Huggins, and many others. This is her first season as an apprentice with Ailey II.
