Professional Division Audition

Due to unforeseen circumstances, The Ailey School audition at Baltimore School for the Arts has been cancelled.
As an alternative, applicants may audition by video, or attend the audition in Silver Spring, MD on Saturday, February 1. Please email [email protected] with your preference.

Ages 16+ are welcome to audition for The Ailey School Professional Division programs in Baltimore, MD. Space is limited–register and apply today! 

This audition is for the following Professional Division programs:

• 2025 Summer Intensive (ages 16-25)
• Certificate Program (ages 17 to 23)
• Independent Study Program (ages 17 to 25)
• Scholarship Program (ages 17 to 21)

The audition will consist of an abbreviated ballet class and modern class. Solos are not required. Students do not need to bring a head shot or resume. Register for this audition by completing an online application and submitting a $30 application fee in the Admissions Portal.

_{Students must be the program age by the program start date (not the audition date). 
Notification of admission status will be sent to students within two weeks of the audition. Space in all programs is limited!}
