Professional Division Audition

Join The Ailey School at the annual Danzainfiera dance festival in Florence, Italy where we will audition dancers for the 2026 Summer Intensives (ages 16-25) and 2026-27 school year Professional Division programs (ages 17-25). 

Students will also have the opportunity to participate in Ailey Horton, ballet, and musical theater masterclasses taught by distinguished faculty members of The Ailey School, including School co-director Tracy Inman. Space is limited! Register for the audition and masterclasses at Danzainfiera.

This audition is for the following Professional Division programs:

• 2026 Summer Intensive (ages 16-25)
• Certificate Program (ages 17 to 23)
• Independent Study Program (ages 17 to 25)
• Scholarship Program (ages 17 to 21)

The audition will consist of abbreviated ballet and modern classes. Solos will not be required. Students do not need to bring a headshot or resume.

Notification of admission status will be sent to students within two weeks of the audition. Space in the Summer Intensive is limited!}
