This men’s group discussion will be a confidential, supportive space where men can speak openly about the challenges they face—without judgment, pressure, or expectation—led by Michael Snipe, Jr., MFT.

Many men are taught to “handle it on their own,” but real strength comes from connection. This group will offer the opportunity to build and strengthen that connection while working through issues such as:

  • Stress and burnout

  • Anxiety and depression

  • Relationship and family challenges

  • Anger and emotional regulation

  • Life transitions (career changes, fatherhood, divorce, loss)

  • Identity, purpose, and personal growth

Through guided discussion and facilitated exercises, members learn practical tools for emotional resilience, communication, and self-awareness. Just as important, they gain the experience of being heard and understood by other men facing similar struggles.

You don’t have to figure everything out alone.

Facilitator

Michael Snipe, Jr., MFT (he/they) is a dancer, teacher, activist, and therapist.

Michael received his BFA from The Juilliard School, graduating with choreographic honors. Michael has performed with Ailey II, Battleworks, Parsons Dance Company, and the Irish Modern Dance Theatre. After leaving the concert dance world behind, Michael performed in Swing! and the Broadway, national, and international companies of Twyla Tharp’s Movin’ Out.

In 2020, while teaching ballet in the morning and protesting at night during the height of the Black Lives Matter Movement, Michael enrolled in Mercy College’s Marriage and Family Therapy master’s program, knowing the world needed more healers. In 2022, he graduated with honors and received his master’s in behavioral sciences.

Michael is currently a staff therapist at Equity Therapy, a mental health private practice in NYC specializing in marginalized communities and the performing arts. As a person of intersecting marginalized communities, Michael understands the need for a safe space to process life’s ups and downs. Drawing from his lived experience working all over the world with various cultures and people as a performing artist and educator, Michael actively and creatively assists those who feel stuck as they try to navigate the roadblocks that are keeping them from progressing forward.
