About
This four-week performance workshop is designed for all levels of dancers to gain invaluable performance training, improve their quality of movement, and discover the extraordinary performer inside.
Dancers will receive individual attention in rehearsals and push the boundaries of their creative voice with original choreography from prominent Ailey instructors, culminating in performances at the Ailey Citigroup Theater on Saturday, November 21 & Sunday, November 22.
Rehearsal Schedules
Rehearsals are twice a week for 4 weeks starting October 22.*
Read below for the full list of techniques and choreographers' schedules. Students are highly encouraged to attend all rehearsals and performances. Please note that tech and dress rehearsals will be on November 16, 18, or 20.
*Janine Beckles's rehearsals start one week earlier on October 16.

Pricing
Workshop Fee: $300
Each workshop includes 16 total hours of rehearsals, two rehearsals per week, tech/dress rehearsals (November, 16, 18, or 20), and performances at the Ailey Citigroup Theater. Students are encouraged to attend all rehearsals.
Additional costs such as costumes are not included in the workshop fee.
Performances
Performances will be held at the Ailey Citigroup Theater on Saturday, November 21 & Sunday, November 22.
Students will have the opportunity to perform for friends, family, and the general public at The Joan Weill Center for Dance. Ticket information and programming will be available in early November.
