Junior Division Sampler Auditions

Dancers ages 11–15 are welcome to audition for The Ailey School Junior Division's 2025 Spring Term Sampler in New York, NY. Space is limited–register to audition today! 

The audition will consist of an in-class placement audition - Ballet class and Modern or Jazz class. Solos are not required. Students do not need to bring a head shot or resume. Please email to arrange an audition date: [email protected].

About the Program

The Spring Term Sampler program, from January to May, 2025, offers a set schedule of ballet and modern dance classes enriched by a workshop-based class where students will learn choreography to be performed at our year end concert. This program is designed to provide a mid-year course of training for a cohort of new Ailey School students seeking to enroll at the mid-point of the academic year. Performance opportunity offered in a large New York City Theater in May.

This is a limited offering. An audition is required and limited space is available.

Spring Sampler Program Schedule:

Wednesday 4:30 - 6pm
Friday 4:30 - 7pm
Saturday 2:30 - 5pm

Subject to audition result, immediate Enrollment possible. Students must attend full schedule offered.
