Based on contrasts of velocities and dynamics, Speeds is notable for its celebratory spirit and virtuosic dancing. Accompanied by churning, rollicking music by Burt Alcantara, the dancers negotiate space with happy abandon, all while honoring pronounced shifts in dynamics.
