The lasting impact of a teacher’s influence on a young child is at the heart of this exuberant work by Darrell Grand Moultrie. Using a mix of jazz standards, original music, and spoken word, Moultrie reflects on the legacies that we’re all a part of and the notion that “when someone has an ounce of faith in you, it can change the course of your life.”
