RUN TIME

17 Minutes

In his sensual, athletic duet, Lar Lubovitch explores the infinite possibilities of partnering in a contemporary look at the 18th-century dance form fandango—a slow moving, restrained dance for a man and a woman. The dancers’ bodies intertwine as if propelled by the lush intensity of Ravel’s Bolero in this piece that The New York Times called “a sexy, topsy-turvy embrace.”
