Coverage II is a solo work by Rudy Perez that was performed by Clive Thompson during Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater’s 1977 New York City Center season. He wears a white jumpsuit, white high-top sneakers, and a hard hat and dances within a square marked out by gaffer's tape. The movements combine pedestrian runs and gestures and formal dance steps to a taped collage of sounds, songs, and poetry by Federico García Lorca.
