Cinco Latinos, originally known as Redonda, is a suite of five short pieces based on a Latin theme and inspired in mood by Brazilian and Caribbean cultures. The work was part of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater’s debut concert at the 92nd Street YM-YWHA on March 30, 1958, which also featured Alvin Ailey’s first masterpiece, Blues Suite
