Paul Taylor’s Arden Court is a romantic, bucolic masterpiece hailed by The New York Times for “the irresistible pleasure of its dancing.” Set to a series of sumptuous symphonic excerpts by baroque composer William Boyce, the work allows the dancers to be at once playful and majestic. It was the first work by this illustrious dance master to enter the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater repertory.
