Jesse Obremski

Jesse Obremski (New York, New York) (he/they) trained at The Ailey School, Jacob’s Pillow, Springboard Danse, and Earl Mosley’s Diversity of Dance. A graduate of LaGuardia High School and The Juilliard School, Obremski has performed with Kate Weare Dance, Brian Brooks Moving Company, Peter Stathas Dance, Lar Lubovitch Dance Company, Buglisi Dance Theatre, Limón Dance Company, and Gibney Company, among others. His performances include the 2019 FINA World Championships and the White House for President Obama. Highlighted in The New York Times, on NY1, and in Dance Magazine’s “On the Rise” (2019), Obremski received a NYSCA/NYFA 2025 Choreography Fellowship, Asian American Arts Alliance’s 2016 Jadin Wong Award, and achieved Boy Scout Eagle Scout rank. Obremski, Founder/Artistic Director of Obremski/Works Inc., has presented choreography in North and South America, Europe, Asia, and Africa, notably at The Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center, and Fall for Dance North with companies including Obremski/Works, Gibney Company's Company Created, Buglisi Dance Theatre, and WGRUV Dance Company.
