Hannah Alissa Richardson

Hannah Alissa Richardson (Toronto, Canada) graduated with honors from The Ailey School Certificate Program and danced with Ailey II for one season before joining the company in 2022. She has performed works by William Forsythe, Robert Battle, and Jamar Roberts. Richardson was featured at the Holland Dance Festival and in the world premiere of Grace and Mercy by Ronald K. Brown at Bard SummerScape. She was also a featured dancer in the inaugural Vogue World event and FUTURE’s DS2 Remixed: The Ballet, choreographed by Ebony Williams. Her screen credits include Every Day by Orion Pictures, Disney Channel’s Backstage, and the Creative Arts Emmy/Webby Award-winning film Echoes of Ailey, directed by Ezra Hurwitz with movement direction by Francesca Harper in collaboration with the Whitney Museum. Through movement, she aims to tell stories that connect, heal, and honor the cultures that have shaped her.
