Daijia Mona´e

Daijia Monaé (Dover, DE) began her formal dance training at age five at the Dance Conservatory in her hometown. She later pursued a BFA in Dance at LIU Post, where she received the Cara Gargano Scholarship and performed works by Lloyd Knight, Natalie Lomonte, and Yannick Lebrun. She continued her training at The Ailey School where she graduated from the Certificate program and worked with choreographers Branndi Nicole Lewis, Maleek Washington, and Jennifer Archibald. This is Monae’s first season with Ailey II.
