Celebrating the Legacy of Alvin Ailey

During History in the House Day, The Wright Museum is presenting a dynamic panel conversation celebrating the legacy of Alvin Ailey and the significant impact of Black women dancers in shaping American dance. This thought-provoking discussion, moderated by Lance Wheeler, VP of Learning & Engagement at The Wright, will explore Ailey’s transformative work and the vital contributions of Black women in dance, both past and present.
