Learn iconic movements from Alvin Ailey's Revelations
Learn gestures, movements, and adapted steps from the dance that means so much to generations of audience members. You won't need any special equipment, just a willingness to try something new. These workshops are for everyone!
The approximate running time will be two hours, including a get-together with refreshments to follow.
What to bring and wear
These events will take place on sport courts and similar hardwood surfaces, so please plan to change out of your outdoor shoes if they are salty, sandy, or wet. Wear what makes you comfortable for a range of movement. Dancewear and dance shoes are not required.
