Junior Division Audition

Dancers ages ages 13–14 are welcome to audition at The Ailey School in New York, NY. Space is limited. Registration opens May 19, 2026.

This audition is for the Junior Division Pre-Professional Program for the 2026-27 school year. Students should have prior ballet experience.

The audition will consist of an abbreviated ballet class, plus modern movement phrases. Solos are not required. Students do not need to bring a head shot or resume. Register for this audition by completing an online application in the Admissions Portal. Students must be the program age by the program start date (not the audition date).
