All performances take place at the Ailey Citigroup Theater and the Ailey Studio Theater, except for BFA Senior Choreography Concerts* and Junior Division Spring Concerts**. Check performances for location details.

Join us at the Ailey Citigroup Theater for exciting performances featuring students in all divisions of The Ailey school. Students in the Professional Division, Junior Division, and Professional Performing Arts School perform works choreographed by our esteemed faculty and by renowned guest choreographers who were selected by The Ailey School Co-Directors, Melanie Person and Tracy Inman. Student choreographed work is also featured in some concerts.
In addition to our annual winter, spring, and summer performances, our two performance groups also showcase their talents - the Ailey Student Performance Group (ASPG), and the Ailey/Fordham Student Dancers (AFSD), perform in concerts that are a part of their program curriculum.
Our performances give students valuable performing experience, while preparing them for the professional dance world beyond our studios.
Some of our past choreographers include Ronald K. Brown, Adam Barruch, Darshan Singh Bhuller, Sonia Dawkins, Amy Hall Garner, Adriene Hurd, Ray Mercer, Darrell Grand Moultrie, Brice Mousset, Fredrick Earl Mosley, Avree Walker.
Note: Most performances and rehearsals take place in our studios and at the Ailey Citigroup Theater. Some Junior Division concerts take place off-site at Hostos Community College.

Tickets
$35 for adults
$25 for students/children
Students are considered anyone with a valid student ID. There is an online processing fee of $3.60. Tickets increase by $5 at the door.

Tickets are available to purchase at OvationTix for all Ailey School performances except the BFA Senior Choreography Concerts (available at the door), Ailey/Fordham BFA in Dance Concert (available through Fordham’s website) and the Professional Performing Arts School (PPAS) Spring Concert (ticket link available at a later date).
On sale ticket dates will be announced closer to each performance. Tickets typically go on sale 4 weeks prior to each concert series.

There is a service fee for each ticket.
At the Box Office
Tickets are sold at the Box Office on a first-come, first-serve basis and are subject to availability. The Box Office opens 45 minutes prior to the start of each performance on the PE Level. Prices increase by $5 at the door and only credit/debit cards are accepted.
All sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges for tickets.

Theater Guidelines
- The theater will open approximately 30 minutes prior to the start of each performance.
- There is no food or drink allowed inside the theater.
- There is absolutely no photography or videography allowed during the performances.
- All guests must present their e-tickets prior to entering the theater (can be shown on a smart phone or printed out).
- Please meet your guests outside the Ailey building following the end of each performance. (The PE Level closes following the end of each performance).
