In this workshop, participants will learn the basic steps of dancehall with a breakdown of their meaning and history before learning original choreography set to trending reggae music.

L.A.S. (Look And Study) Dancers are a dancehall duo made up of acclaimed dancers Larenzo Campbell aka Bigga and Navarroe Crossman aka Bling Evo. L.A.S. Dancers serve as international cultural ambassadors of the Jamaican dancehall and Caribbean dance culture here in New York City. The teaching style of this dynamic duo offers a credible cultural exchange by educating students on dance vocabulary, the history of the movement, cultural implications, and coaching on the technique. Collectively, this team has a decade of knowledge and experience from the underground scene to the commercial work of dancehall today.
