AILEY Workshop at Jacob's Pillow

We regretfully announce that Jacob's Pillow has canceled the remainder of their season, including Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater's performances and events, following the tragic accident that occurred on their campus.   

The entire AILEY team extends our sincerest condolences to everyone at the Pillow. You are in our hearts and we stand with you during this difficult time.   

Ticket holders for the festival will receive information on refunds.

Assistant Rehearsal Director Kanji Segawa will lead this workshop consisting of a warm-up and exercises based on the Lester Horton technique and other modern dance techniques. Participants will also learn choreography from Alvin Ailey’s masterpiece, Revelations, and other works from the AILEY repertory.

The workshop is open to all levels of experience and all physical abilities. As Mr. Ailey said, "Dance is for everybody."
